Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man (woman) who trusts in Him.” Psalm 34:8-10 NKJV

Are you grateful today? I pray your answer is yes, but maybe you base your gratefulness on your or the world’s circumstances… I pray not. God’s blessings are limitless and full. He never wants you to be in pain or chaos.

People (Christians and non-Christians) tend to blame God for everything that happens in their lives. Do you take into account that life is controlled by the Lord, or by someone else? There is no middle of the road. Could it be that some of the blame should be placed on poor choices, bad decisions, hasty and wrong thoughts and actions, etc.? Why is it easier to blame God? Maybe somewhere in the back of your mind, you have the preconceived notion (or the enemy’s lie) that when you decided to give God a try, everything would magically get better, life would be calm and you would be happy?

There is a scripture, Philippians 4:11, which says, “I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.” You will not see or experience your blessings when you see your cup as constantly empty! God’s blessings are like the rushing torrent of Niagara Falls. You can be right by it, but if you have your eyes on yourself and your ears covered with the headphones of fear, doubt, anger, and despair-you will get damp, but the cup in your pocket will stay empty! Look up… uncover your ears… take out your cup… hold it up to the Lord (Yahweh) and hold on!

Running over…
Kathy
